I am among those who finds Twitter to be an unfortunate place the dissemination of this sort of information.

Penelope Trunk's tweet last week: "Having a miscarriage. Thank goodness ..." offended many. But women have miscarriages and abortions. And then don't talk about it. But we should. Privacy is fine. Shame is not.
