They're surrounded by the requisite smiley parents, girl sidekicks to make up for all the testosterone (well, all the Y-chromosomes, anyway) and a smart-aleck younger brother.
This is utterly safe fare, without even the innuendo that mars Hannah Montana (must be those infamous purity rings). Should you happen to be in the room, Jonas does offer an occasional giggle, particularly when the stars break free of their tightly scripted roles, but for the most part, it's utterly uninteresting. Plots include the boys letting fame go to their collective head and girlfriends who may or may not like a guy for "who he is." Lessons are learned, hugs exchanged. Kids that aren't already fans won't be drawn in, , but plenty of tween girls will watch.
