Earlier this week on Your Comeback, Emma Gilbey Keller wrote about Kat, a single physical trainer who decided to have a child with a sperm donor. She's looking for submissions from other women who have chosen to be single moms. Did you have a one-night stand and decide to keep the baby? Did you get artificially inseminated? Did you decide to have a kid with a platonic friend? Emma wants to hear from you about your choice: E-mail her at emma@thecomebackbook.com.

No, don't be misogynistic. A woman has a right to have a baby all on her own. It doesn't matter the greater likelihood or probability of the negative circumstances pitted against her offspring, its her right.
It doesn't matter that several European nations bar single parents from adopting children due to their studies which show children of single parents are faced with greater difficulties than children of married parents.
Really?

That article is so great! But aside from that breaking report let me impart new concern to you. Some people might be hearing the name Diandra Douglas lately, and might wonder if she has anything to do with Michael Douglas, the actor. She does – Diandra Douglas is his ex-wife, and together they had one child, Cameron Douglas. The two married in 1978, divorced in 2000 – conveniently right before he married Catherine Zeta Jones. Why is she in the news? Well, it's because Cameron Douglas did not pursue a career in acting, instead opting to get busted for being a dealer of methamphetamines. (You might call it a Felon Attraction!) The bust was for a large ring operation, so it might take a cash advance for a good lawyer to keep Michael and Diandra Douglas son out of jail.
